What is Strike Rate?

Strike Rate (SR) is a measure of batting aggression in cricket. It represents the number of runs scored per 100 balls faced by a batter. A higher strike rate indicates more aggressive batting.

Formula

Strike Rate = (Runs Scored รท Balls Faced) ร— 100

Performance Levels

  • Below 100: Conservative batting
  • 100-130: Moderate aggression
  • 130-150: Aggressive batting
  • Above 150: Very aggressive batting
